Reset and rediscover life balance with our 2-night retreat at historic Everest, a c.1903 Queenslander in the heart of the Maleny Hinterland – a region renowned for its restorative atmosphere and spiritual energy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Living Well Retreats host a maximum of eight guests, creating a calm and supportive setting for meaningful connection. Our retreats are suited to individuals, couples, or small groups seeking time away from daily life to rest, reset, and reconnect.

Your retreat starts with a welcome ceremony with nourishing teas and refreshing drinks. Yoga and meditation are at the heart of the experience, guided by Lenell Armstrong. Lenell brings over 25 years of experience in yoga, movement and fitness and is a highly skilled teacher, whose style is gentle and uplifting. She takes the time to support individual needs, making each session personal and accessible. Classes are held at historic Everest, a light-filled space with high ceilings, classic timber floors and a wood fire for colder months.

You will also take part in a hands-on herbal workshop, learning how specific herbs can support your personal well-being. During this session, you will create your own signature wellness tea to take home.

Each guest will enjoy a choice of either a nourishing massage or an indulgent facial, plus the immersive weekend includes a guided waterfall and rainforest walk, stargazing and a deeply relaxing sound healing experience.

ACCOMMODATION

Everest offers elegant, ground-level accommodation within its historic homestead, each bedroom overlooking established gardens that provide complete privacy – along with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and generous living areas that flow onto wrap-around terraces and beautifully landscaped surrounds.

Every detail is crafted with comfort and character in mind: quality beds ensure a restorative sleep, while the stylish, thoughtfully chosen furnishings create a unique and welcoming atmosphere to complement the experience that awaits.

5 pm – 6.15 pm – Soft Flow Yoga *

6.30 pm – dinner

 

Day 2

7.30 – 8.45 am  Yinyasa Flow Yoga *

9.00 am breakfast | Eastern terrace

10.30 am Herbal tea making, combine your own blend with Herbalist Dom Livkamal, The Medicine Room**

12.30 pm lunch | The Lakehouse BBQ pavilion

2.00 – 4.30 pm Massages & facials
